CDCS Farmers Academy

The CDCS® Farmers’ Academy is a flagship CSR initiative dedicated to promoting climate-smart, safe, and nutritious food production through strategic integration of technology, information, and market access. It aims to strengthen the capabilities of farmers, value chain actors, and agro-enterprises by fostering a knowledge-driven, entrepreneurial ecosystem that supports equitable and inclusive growth in agriculture. The Academy also plays a vital role in raising consumer awareness and building trust in the food system through its emphasis on sustainability and innovation. Guided by a mission to uplift the farming community and serve both producers and consumers, the Academy delivers targeted capacity building in areas such as climate-resilient farming practices, post-harvest handling, market linkages, and agribusiness development. It provides incubation and acceleration support to agro-MSMEs and ag-tech startups while facilitating partnerships with public, private, and development stakeholders. CDCS FarmersEnd®

CDCS FarmersEnd® is a flagship initiative by the Center for Development & Competitive Strategies (CDCS®) that reimagines how grassroots producers engage with modern markets. As part of CDCS®’s broader agribusiness and market systems development agenda, FarmersEnd® connects smallholder farmers, producer groups, and agro-entrepreneurs directly with consumers and institutional buyers through curated farmers’ markets, mobile sales platforms, and experiential trade events. From pioneering weekend agro-markets and mobile market pilots during the COVID-19 crisis, to launching value-driven community platforms like G4G Krishi-Onggon, FarmersEnd® blends commercial innovation with inclusive participation. These initiatives promote climate-smart, safe, and nutritious food, support fair pricing for producers, and build consumer awareness through direct, trust-based exchanges. G4G Agribusiness Group

The G4G Agribusiness Group is a signature umbrella initiative of CDCS® designed to empower grassroots communities—particularly farmers, rural entrepreneurs, and producer organizations—through inclusive agribusiness development.
