At the engaging knowledge-sharing event CDCS Krishi Adda: Future of Agriculture in Bangladesh, organized in 2014 by the CDCS Knowledge Institute, a dynamic and participatory dialogue was co-facilitated to explore the evolving landscape of agriculture in Bangladesh. Designed as an informal yet intellectually rich forum, the Krishi Adda brought together policymakers, practitioners, r ers, agripreneurs, and youth to discuss critical trends shaping the future of the country’s agrifood systems. The session delved into emerging challenges such as climate change, land fragmentation, and youth disinterest in farming, while also highlighting transformative opportunities in agro-innovation, value chain integration, and digital agriculture. As co-facilitator, CDCS played a central role in curating the agenda, synthesizing insights, and guiding collaborative thinking around policy reform, institutional innovation, and investment strategies. The event successfully catalyzed new ideas and partnerships, reinforcing CDCS’s commitment to fostering inclusive dialogue and thought leadership in shaping a resilient and future-ready agricultural sector in Bangladesh.
