CDCS® developed and published 10 Full Cases “Local Cases for Rural Marketing Course” for Swisscontact KATALYST, funded by UKaid, DFID, GIZ, SDC, EKN, and CIDA. The initiative aimed to integrate practical rural marketing insights into university business school curricula. CDCS® developed case studies covering key sectors including maize, fish, furniture, ICT, media, potato, prawn, rural supply chains, seed, and vegetables. The assignment involved comprehensive secondary research, desk reviews, and stakeholder interviews to gather real-world data. CDCS® then prepared detailed case studies and accompanying presentation modules to facilitate classroom learning, enabling students to understand rural market dynamics, value chains, and strategic decision-making in the context of Bangladesh’s rural economy.
