CDCS® developed first-of-its-kind digital platform in Bangladesh dedicated to women entrepreneurs — the Women Entrepreneurs Networking Platform (WENP). This transformative initiative, led by the Bangladesh Regional Connectivity Project-1 under the Ministry of Commerce funded by the World Bank, is designed to build a vibrant, inclusive business networking ecosystem for women entrepreneurs across the country.
CDCS® has played a pivotal role in curating an extensive database of over 30,000 verified business profiles of women entrepreneurs, encompassing a wide range of products and service offerings (all 19 sectors according to Industrial Classification 2019) by women-led enterprises representing all 64 districts across Bangladesh. This robust networking system enables national and international buyers, suppliers, service providers, and other stakeholders to seamlessly explore and engage with the dynamic market of women entrepreneurs in Bangladesh.
WENP serves as a powerful digital platform for women to connect, collaborate, and grow. By facilitating real-time interactions and business linkages, the platform helps entrepreneurs showcase their offerings, expand market access, and build meaningful commercial relationships. Through this innovative platform, CDCS® is not only strengthening market connectivity but also championing the economic empowerment of women-led businesses across Bangladesh.
