Under the UKaid/DFID, SDC, and DANIDA-supported Swisscontact KATALYST initiative, CDCS® facilitated strategic workshops to advance market-responsive agriculture and agribusiness education in Bangladesh.
The intervention focused on bridging the existing gaps between academic curricula and dynamic private sector needs, ensuring graduates are better prepared for real industry challenges. By engaging universities, industry leaders, and development partners, CDCS® raised institutional awareness on the urgency of curriculum modernization and innovative teaching methods.
The initiative strengthened academia–industry collaboration, enabling more practical learning pathways and employability-focused reforms. CDCS® also supported strategic planning to guide input for future institutional capacity development and employer engagement, fostering a more competitive and market-ready agrifood workforce.
