CDCS® conducted a comprehensive market assessment to evaluate the commercial viability of safe and nutritious agro-food products—including banana, papaya, and processed items—produced under the RDA umbrella. Using field-validated data, the study identified systemic challenges and market opportunities to strengthen value chain performance. 
 
The findings guided RDA in designing strategies to scale production, improve food safety and quality, and enhance branding for high-value consumer markets. The assessment further highlighted targeted support needs for MSMEs, especially women- and youth-led units, enabling them to access better market linkages and improved incomes. Overall, the initiative strengthened RDA’s positioning in nutrition-sensitive and safe food systems in northern Bangladesh.
