Under the USAID/DAI Bangladesh Agricultural Value Chains (AVC) project, CDCS® provided Stakeholder Engagement Facilitation Services focusing on Women in Flower, Jute, Mango, and Vegetable Value Chains.
The initiative generated gender-disaggregated insights on value chain constraints, highlighting the specific challenges faced by women entrepreneurs and workers. By engaging stakeholders through consultations and workshops, CDCS® delivered a field-informed strategy roadmap offering actionable recommendations to guide future interventions, strengthen women’s participation, and inform policy dialogues.
The project enhanced understanding of gendered barriers, promoted inclusive agricultural practices, and contributed to more equitable and sustainable development outcomes for women across Bangladesh’s agribusiness sector.
