Under the USAID/DAI Bangladesh Agricultural Value Chains (AVC) project, CDCS® facilitated the Development of Peer-to-Peer Business Networks in Bangladesh, strengthening collaboration among agribusiness entrepreneurs across key southern districts.
The initiative fostered knowledge exchange, trust, and joint problem-solving, enhancing overall value chain performance. Women-led SMEs reported increased confidence, business growth, and stronger market positioning, benefiting from targeted coaching and mentorship. Participating enterprises also improved market readiness through insights on pricing, branding, and customer engagement while adopting safer, climate-resilient practices.
The peer-to-peer networking and accelerator model demonstrated robust replication potential, offering a scalable framework to enhance SME competitiveness, food safety, and sustainable agricultural development across Bangladesh’s agribusiness sector.
