Under the USAID/DAI Bangladesh Agricultural Value Chains (AVC) project, CDCS® partnered in the branding and promotional campaign for Southern Mango varieties, designing and implementing an integrated campaign that connected farmers with urban consumers.
The initiative successfully introduced thousands of city consumers to early-season mangoes from southern Bangladesh, sparking new demand and market curiosity. By strengthening linkages among farmers, traders, retailers, and processors, the campaign enhanced product differentiation and established a unique identity for southern mangoes in a competitive market.
As a result, participating growers gained improved market access, stronger buyer relationships, and better price opportunities—translating into tangible economic benefits and greater recognition for Bangladesh’s regional mango producers.
