CDCS® conducted the Endline Study of the PACE (Personal Advancement and Career Enhancement) at Community Project, implemented by CARE Bangladesh with support from USAID and GAP Inc. The evidence-based evaluation aimed to assess the project’s impact on women garment workers’ empowerment, financial literacy, communication skills, and community leadership beyond factory settings. Through mixed-method research involving surveys, focus group discussions, and stakeholder interviews,
CDCS® evaluated behavioral changes, knowledge retention, and the sustainability of the PACE model at the community level. The findings revealed significant improvements in women’s confidence, decision-making ability, and access to support networks, demonstrating the project’s success in extending worker well-being and empowerment from the workplace to their households and wider communities.
