CDCS® research team analyzed and profiled 48 globally used climate-smart livestock (CSL), these were then ranked and evaluated using multi-criteria analysis (MCA) and evaluation framework and SWOT analyses and engaging the expert panel finally a filtered set of 12 technologies and practices were finalized for field survey and assessment.
From 600+ survey-based farmer and stakeholder preference analysis, 9 unused and under-used technologies and practices were confirmed for adaptation and promotion at field level. CDCS® successfully translated these global CSL frameworks into context-relevant recommendations, bridging the gap between theory and practice to guide scalable, field-ready innovations.
The research findings serve as a critical input for future donor-funded initiatives, government livestock extension programs, and private sector investment strategies aimed at greening livestock value chains in Bangladesh.
