CDCS® implemented the project titled “Current Policy Regulations: Challenges & Opportunities for Women SMEs in Bangladesh” for SME Foundation Bangladesh. The objective was to examine the regulatory environment affecting women-owned small and medium enterprises and to identify barriers and enablers for their growth.
CDCS® conducted extensive desk research and primary interviews with women entrepreneurs, policy actors, and relevant stakeholders. The team developed detailed case studies and carried out in-depth analysis to highlight key challenges and opportunities for business expansion. The findings were compiled into a comprehensive report and presented at the Second National Women Entrepreneurship Conference, where the paper was also published in the official proceedings, contributing to the national policy discourse on women’s economic empowerment.
